comScore has released a report on U.S. online holiday spending for the holiday season-to-date, and revealed that consumers spent record $35.3 billion online, up 15% from the same period last year. According to the new report from customer experience analytics firm ForSee, Amazon is the top online retailer in terms of customer satisfaction in 2011. Netflix on the other hand plummeted in customer satisfaction due to the company’s “well-publicized blunders.” After competing for the number one spot in the ForSee’s Index for seven years, the two online retailers are now heading in the opposite directions.

The University of California at Berkeley recently made a decision to depart from its old email system CalMail due to the system outages and has selected Google Apps over Microsoft’s Office 365 for its campus email and calendar services. Using a combination of technologies to monitor Santa’s progress as he speeds through the skies. They can call upon a satellite-tracking dish, located in Los Alamos, and use sensors on the Lab’s FORTE and Cibola Flight Experiment satellites.
