Jamcracker and KPN Partner to Create Cloud Services Aggregator Platform for Enterprises

Jamcracker has announced partnership with KPN, a leading IT service provider in the Netherlands, to create cloud services aggregator platform for enterprises. According to the press release, delivering on the KPN services aggregator strategy, the platform encompasses Jamcracker’s cloud services brokerage platform, enabling KPN to provide value-added services for their customers.

Jamcracker says that the new business model is arising around cloud services aggregation and reselling, often referred to as a cloud service broker. This model gives telecommunications and IT service providers the opportunity to augment their service offerings with a platform that enables enterprises to centralize and manage cloud services. Partnering with Jamcracker and using the Jamcracker Services Delivery Network, KPN has brought this model to life through its services aggregator platform. In addition to KPN services, the platform also offers third party services and delivers them “as a service.”

“The KPN platform is the first instance of an enterprise cloud brokerage operating on a global scale, making it easy for enterprises to assemble and collect services creating an internal marketplace of cloud and non-cloud applications that enterprises can leverage for operational efficiency and increased revenue,” KB Chandrasekhar, CEO at Jamcracker said in a statement.

The KPN platform provides enterprises with improved management of access to cloud services, identity management, performance reporting and enhanced security.

“The KPN cloud aggregation and delivery platform leverages our telecommunications and IT expertise to help us deliver on our strategy to converging information, technology and telecommunications and to optimize opportunities for our customers,” said Steven van Schilfgaarde, CEO KPN Corporate Market. “By partnering with Jamcracker, we are able to work together on this vision and utilize the JSDN to quickly deliver a platform that sets a standard among enterprises.”
